Nathan Patin is a Washington, D.C.-based independent researcher. He focuses on information operations, infrastructure hunting, and the Middle East. He has been a member of the Bellingcat Investigation Team since 2015, and he was a guest presenter at Bellingcat's 2018 and 2019 Washington D.C. workshops. He is an adjunct professor at Georgetown, where he teaches a Security Studies Program course on online open-source investigations. He ​has presented his research at several conferences, including CYBERWARCON.
